The Riviera’s shortest airport run

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport sits right on the water, just west of the city. Depending on the time of day, your driver takes either the Promenade des Anglais, which follows the sweep of the Baie des Anges, or the urban expressway, which is quicker for the northern and eastern districts. Allow fifteen minutes when the roads are clear, half an hour at rush hour or on a summer evening.

The fare does not move: €100 by sedan or €120 by van, whether you are heading for Old Nice, Cimiez, the port or the Libération district. The flat rate covers the whole of Nice, in either direction.

Hotels, Nice-Ville station, the port: right to your address

Your driver takes you to the exact address given at booking: a seafront hotel, an apartment in Carabacel, a villa on Mont Boron. Much of Old Nice is pedestrianised, so you are dropped as close as possible, on the edge of the old town, with a hand for your luggage.

The flat rate also suits onward connections: land, then catch a train at Nice-Ville station or a ferry to Corsica from the port of Nice. It works just as well for a conference at the Acropolis convention centre, a match at the Nice stadium in the Var valley, or dinner around the Cours Saleya. The return journey to Terminal 1 or Terminal 2 costs exactly the same.

Arrivals: flight tracking and a name sign

We track your flight in real time using the number you give us at booking. If you land early or late, the meeting time moves with you, and there is never a charge for an airline delay. Your driver waits in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name, and a complimentary waiting period is included after landing while you collect your bags.

For departures, your driver sets the time around your flight and the traffic on the Promenade, which gets heavy in the late afternoon, throughout the summer and during the Nice Carnival in February. What the flat rate includes

One journey is one flat rate, so a hotel–airport return comes to €200 by sedan or €240 by van. The sedan takes 3 passengers and 3 suitcases, the van up to 8 passengers and 6 suitcases, at the same price however many of you there are. Tolls, fuel, meet & greet and luggage assistance are included day and night, and baby seats and boosters are free.

Depending on your plans, you can add:

• › a stop on the way, to collect the keys to a rental apartment for instance: from €10;
• › cancellation cover: €5, with a full refund up to 24 hours before departure.
