Monaco

The A8 from end to end

The route follows the A8 east, above Antibes and Nice, to the Monaco exit and the descent into the Principality. Allow 50 minutes to 1 h 15: the stretch north of Nice and the approach to Monaco are the pinch points at rush hour. Tolls and fuel are included in the flat rate.

The fare covers the whole of Cannes, Cannes-la-Bocca included, and the entire Principality: Monte-Carlo, La Condamine, Fontvieille, Monaco-Ville and Larvotto. In Cannes, your driver collects you from the Croisette, Le Suquet, the station or Port Canto; in Monaco, you are dropped at your hotel, Port Hercule or your residence. Beausoleil and Cap-d’Ail, on the French side, are outside the flat rate.

Two cities of conferences and late nights

This route connects two major event venues: the Palais des Festivals at one end, the Grimaldi Forum at the other. During MIPIM or Cannes Lions, some delegates stay in Monaco; the Grand Prix and the Monaco Yacht Show, in turn, draw visitors who are based in Cannes. Your driver makes the run at the agreed time, with no parking to worry about in the Principality. Bear in mind that roads into Monaco fill up at the start and end of the working day, when thousands of commuters arrive and leave: for an early meeting, set off in good time.

For dinner in Monte-Carlo or an evening at the Casino from Cannes, book both legs together: a return trip is two flat rates, €440 by sedan, and the late ride home costs the same, as NeoShuttle runs 24/7.

Groups and families: the van

A delegation, a sales team or a family on holiday: the private van takes up to 8 passengers and 6 suitcases for €240, however many of you there are (€480 return). One vehicle for everyone, one departure time, and nobody hunting for a parking space in Monaco.

The vehicle is entirely private and air-conditioned: no other passengers, no detours. For a team, that is an hour of calm to prepare a meeting or debrief after a day on a stand. Travelling with children? Tell us their ages when booking: baby seats and boosters are free and matched to each child.

What the flat rate includes

€220 by sedan (3 passengers, 3 suitcases) or €240 by van, in either direction, with tolls, fuel and luggage assistance included, day or night. Baby seats and boosters are free. By Prestige sedan, the flat rate is €260 (€520 return).

Optional extras:

  • › €5 per suitcase beyond the vehicle’s capacity;
  • › €10 for a pet;
  • › from €10 for a stop on the way, in Nice for instance;
  • › €5 for cancellation cover, with a full refund up to 24 hours before departure.

Frequently asked questions

Is Monaco to Cannes the same price?

Yes: €220 by sedan and €240 by van, whichever way you travel.

How long does the journey take?

From 50 minutes to 1 h 15 outside peak traffic. For an early-evening meeting or dinner, leave some margin: late afternoon is the busiest time on the A8.

No, it covers the Principality only. For these neighbouring French towns, the booking tool shows the exact price before you confirm.

Can we stop in Nice on the way?
