Two possible routes, one price

Most often, your driver takes the A8 as far as Le Muy, then the D25 towards Sainte-Maxime before following the Gulf. Out of season, the coast road through Théoule, the Esterel corniche, Saint-Raphaël and Sainte-Maxime is slower but spectacular. The fare does not depend on the route: your driver simply picks the one that suits the traffic on the day.

Allow 1 h 20 to 1 h 45 outside peak traffic. The flat rate covers the whole of Cannes, Cannes-la-Bocca included, and Saint-Tropez, Ramatuelle and Gassin at the other end: from the Palais des Festivals to a Pampelonne beach, it is one price. Grimaud, Cogolin and Sainte-Maxime, elsewhere on the Gulf, are not included — the booking tool calculates the exact fare for them.

This is the route for anyone combining the two: a few days on the Croisette for a trade show or the Film Festival, then the Gulf of Saint-Tropez for the rest of the trip. Summer, Yachting Festival, Les Voiles: when to book

In July and August, the approach to Saint-Tropez via La Foux is often gridlocked late in the morning and late in the afternoon; leaving early saves time, even though the price stays the same. From September into early October, the Cannes Yachting Festival is followed by Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez, and both harbours fill up — vehicles get booked quickly.
